Starbucks is a multinational coffeehouse company and brand founded in Seattle in 1971. It sells café beverages, coffee beans, food, and related merchandise.
Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte contained no real pumpkin for 12 years after its 2003 debut — its flavor came only from cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Only after customer backlash did Starbucks add real kabocha pumpkin puree, about 2%, starting in 2015.
