An American food company founded by Vietnamese American entrepreneur David Tran, best known for its rooster-logo Sriracha sauce.
The name of Sriracha maker Huy Fong Foods has nothing to do with sauce. In 1979, founder David Tran escapedVietnam aboard a cargo ship named Huey Fong, which took him to Hong Kong. He later named the company after the ship that saved his life.
