Domesticated animal
An animal bred and kept by humans over many generations for food, labor, or fiber; domesticated animals developed alongside Agriculture and differ in traits from their wild ancestors.
Humans perceive large eyes and small noses as baby traits, triggering cuteness. This is 'baby schema.' Domesticated animals retain these traits into adulthood—and so do humans, suggesting we domesticated ourselves.
